This tour visits the unique stories of two individuals from Haebaru Town, Okinawa, which is the only town in Okinawa not facing the coast, allowing participants to explore its history and culture.

We will pick up electric bicycles and hold a simple explanation session for safe and enjoyable riding. ◎ Haebaru Town, Shimajiri District, Okinawa Prefecture This town is the birthplace of the creator of "Ultraman," which sparked the kaiju boom. It is said that fans began visiting his study after his death. Here, you can see numerous exhibits and materials related to him. ◎ Tsuhanyama, Haebaru Town, Shimajiri District, Okinawa Prefecture A monument dedicated to a great individual who devoted himself to the dream and romance of "flying in the sky." It is installed on a hill where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the town. ◎ Teruya, Haebaru Town, Shimajiri District, Okinawa Prefecture A stone lion (Shisa) stands to ward off evil spirits. There are many legends about it, including that it was built to protect valuable spring water. Its fierce gaze is impressive. ◎ Honbu, Haebaru Town, Shimajiri District, Okinawa Prefecture This town is known as the birthplace of Ryukyu Kasuri (Okinawan ikat). Inside the facility, various items such as wear, ties, bags, and pouches made using handmade "Ryukyu Kasuri" by artisans are exhibited and sold. ◎ Kyan, Okinawa Prefecture We will head to a small forest called "Kogane Mori" (Golden Forest). During the Battle of Okinawa, the Okinawa Army Hospital tunnels were constructed here. Students also visit for peace education. From the top of the hill, you can overlook the streets of Naha and Haebaru. ◎ Okinawa Prefecture This region cultivates many vegetables such as pumpkin. (Sandals or heels are dangerous when riding bicycles.) ・Please bring appropriate clothing according to the season, including outerwear. ・Please bring your own drinks. ・Even children under 5 years old will incur charges if they use bicycles. Please contact the staff. ・In case of bad weather, the course may be changed or converted to a walking tour (approximately 2-3 hours).
